Words have power. Once spoken, it cannot be taken back.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit. Prov 18:21
God said, “Let there be.”; and there was. He spoke the word and creation obeyed.By the word of the Lord the dead came back to life. Jesus said “Lazarus come forth” and Lazarus, who had been dead for days, arose.
We have the authority to speak to mountains in our life and they will move. God’s word will not return to him void. HE gave us the power and authority to speak over our lives. So Speak life!
Be careful what you accept as a decree spoken over your life.
Many people accept the negative things said about them and end up living it out. Don’t receive it nor accept it; rather reject it. Take the word of God and speak the promises of God over your life.
Say things like:
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus,
I am a conqueror
I am the head and not the tail
I am above and not beneath
I am a joint heir with Christ
I am blessed going out and coming in
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63
