Extraordinary Life

To live an Extraordinary Life is to live a life full of faith. We know that without faith, it is impossible to please God.

How do we exercise our faith?
An athlete has to practice every day or their muscles will become tense, seize up and not function the way that they need it to during their game or race. When we exercise our faith daily, whether it is by praying for the sick or praying to find our keys, we are building faith muscles. IF you don’t practice then it won’t grow. It is also important to water it with the word of God. Faith comes by hearing the word of God. God’s word is alive.

Are you ready to activate your faith? The word of God says, “I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.” Mark 11:23

From Ordinary to Extraordinary

Ordinary things become extraordinary once they are given over to God.

Jesus had them fill the waterpots with water and he miraculously turned the water into the best wine served at that wedding. It was so noticeable, that the Master of the feast said to the Bridegroom, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!”
The young boy gave Jesus his two fish and five loaves of bread and it multiplied exponentially. It fed a great multitude of people and yet there was an overflow.
A small simple sling shot became a mighty deadly weapon against the enemy, when God got involved. “David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies–the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” 1Samuel 17:45

Do you want to live an extraordinary life? Have you given your life to God? HE can make a difference in your outcomes.

Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.(Prov 16:3)

So at twilight they (The 4 Lepers) set out for the camp of the Arameans. But when they came to the edge of the camp, no one was there! For the Lord had caused the Aramean army to hear the clatter of speeding chariots and the galloping of horses and the sounds of a great army approaching. “The king of Israel has hired the Hittites and Egyptians[d] to attack us!” they cried to one another. So they panicked and ran into the night, abandoning their tents, horses, donkeys, and everything else, as they fled for their lives. 2Kings 7:5-7
Let every Aramean enemy in your life hear the sound of the angels that has been strategically assigned to you and flee out of your life, in Jesus name. Receive your breakthrough today!!! ‪#‎Breakthrough‬ ‪#‎blessings‬ ‪#‎abundantlife‬ ‪#‎RuthDente‬

Summer is such a beautiful time of year. My family and I take the time to enjoy lots of outdoor activities.
Here’s some of our favorite things to do in the Summer: Swimming, Fishing, playing on the Beach, Badminton, Walking, Horse-back riding, Cycling, Roller-blading, BBQs, Gardening and Travelling… I just love summer!!!

Just want to encourage you to enjoy every day. Go out and enjoy the lovely flowers and birds. “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Early in the morning, I love to listen to the birds chirping. They can really sing 🙂
From my family to yours…Have a wonderful Summer!!!

Stay focused

keep moving
If someone is trying to pull you back, it simply means that YOU are ahead of them. If they are trying to pull you down, it means that YOU are above them. Sometimes, people admire you in the strangest ways 🙂 Stay focused, dismiss the distractions and keep moving forward.

If God is for us, then what can stand against us? The most high, all powerful, God of wonders is on our side.

Rejoice in the Lord always:

  • Through persecution and hard times, just keep moving forward and REjoice.
  • No matter the hurt or the heartache – Rejoice! God says that he is with you always.
  • They say you’ll never amount to anything – Rejoice in the Lord because he says that you are an overcomer. You are a winner!
  • No matter what it looks like – Rejoice. God says that you are blessed and highly favored.
  • Dark clouds hanging over your head – rejoice. The word of God says, “Weeping may endure for a night but JOY comes in the morning.
  • You are so over-burdened that you feel like you can’t even pray.
  • You feel like God isn’t answering. The word of God says that the prayer of the righteous availeth much. He says before you even call, he will answer; while you are still speaking he will hear!!! Isaiah 65:24
  • PRAY without ceasing. Keep moving forward.
    God’s got your back!!!

    Keep Smiling

Laugh Cry Smile Keys Represent Different Emotions Keep Smiling! With God on your side, you are already victorious. You are on the winning team. Now turn that frown upside down and SMILE :)!!! Your laughter and joy is contagious.

As a Christian, you gotta remember that God’s got you!!! He really cares about every little thing about you. No mountain is too high for him to climb to ensure your well-being. Stop and think about it. No matter what the enemy throws across your path, keep marching forward with assurance that you have the victory. Say goodbye to Mr. & Mrs. Worry. The bible tells us in Psalm 60:12 – With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.

Go ahead, proclaim it: The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. Psalm 118:6
    Have a victorious Day!!!

    Let God use you

    Let God use you

God loves using the insignificant to do his greatest work.

Here are three things that God used that had amazingly GREAT results:

    1. A sling shot and a stone to bring down a great big giant.
Everyone was sorely afaid of the giant, except small David. His trust was in God. He had confidence that God would get the victory.
“So David triumphed over the Philistine with only a sling and a stone, for he had no sword.” 1 Samuel 17:50

    2. Moses’ Hand. Wow! What a great day in history.
“Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the LORD opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land. So the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side!” Exodus 14:21 – 22

    3. The “No name” – the young lad, whose name was not recorded in the bible, gave up his meal 2 fish and 5 loaves. Jesus used it to feed over 5000 people. That story lives on.
“Don’t you understand even yet? Don’t you remember the 5,000 I fed with five loaves, and the baskets of leftovers you picked up?” Matthew 16:9

There are many more accounts of God doing great things through what we would call “the insignificant”. Let God use you. You are very important in His eyes. All he wants is a surrendered vessel; a willing heart!

Do you have a giant in your life? Face your giant with prayer, through the grace and power of Almighty God.
    Stay Blessed!!!

    God gives wisdom

For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. Prov 2:6

To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. Eccl 2:26

    The Holy Spirit

I just wanted to share this with you all.  Hope you enjoy this devotional…

Here are the 50 Things the Holy Spirit Does  by Frank Viola

    1.      The Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8).

    2.      The Spirit guides us into all truth (John 16:13).

    3.      The Spirit regenerates us (John 3:5-8; Titus 3:5).

    4.      The Spirit glorifies and testifies of Christ (John 15:26; 16:14).

    5.      The Spirit reveals Christ to us and in us (John 16:14-15).

    6.      The Spirit leads us (Rom. 8:14; Gal. 5:18; Matt. 4:1; Luke 4:1).

    7.      The Spirit sanctifies us (2 Thess. 2:13; 1 Pet. 1:2; Rom. 5:16).

    8.      The Spirit empowers us (Luke 4:14; 24:49; Rom. 15:19; Acts 1:8).

    9.      The Spirit fills us (Eph. 5:18; Acts 2:4; 4:8, 31; 9:17).

    10.    The Spirit teaches us to pray (Rom. 8:26-27; Jude 1:20).

    11.    The Spirit bears witness in us that we are children of God (Rom. 8:16).

    12.    The Spirit produces in us the fruit or evidence of His work and presence (Gal. 5:22-23).

    13.    The Spirit distributes spiritual gifts and manifestations (the outshining) of His presence to and through the body (1 Cor.     12:4, 8-10; Heb. 2:4).

    14.    The Spirit anoints us for ministry (Luke 4:18; Acts 10:38).

    15.    The Spirit  washes and renews us (Titus 3:5).

    16.    The Spirit brings unity and oneness to the body (Eph. 4:3; 2:14-18). Here the Holy Spirit plays the same role that He plays in the Godhead. The Spirit is the life that unites Father and Son. The Spirit plays the same role in the church. When the Holy Spirit is operating in a group of people, He unites them in love. Therefore, a sure evidence of the Holy Spirit working in a group is Love and Unity. Not signs and wonders (those are seasonal and can be counterfeited).

    17.    The Spirit is our guarantee and deposit of the future resurrection (2 Cor. 1:22; 2 Cor. 5:5).

    18.    The Spirit seals us unto the day of redemption (Eph. 1:13; 4:30).

    19.    The Spirit sets us free from the law of sin and death (Rom. 8:2).

    20.    The Spirit quickens our mortal bodies (Rom. 8:11).

    21.    The Spirit reveals the deep things of God to us (1 Cor. 2:10).

    22.    The Spirit reveals what has been given to us from God (1 Cor. 2:12).

    23.    The Spirit dwells in us (Rom. 8:9; 1 Cor. 3:16; 2 Tim. 1:14; John 14:17).

    24.    The Spirit speaks to, in, and through us (1 Cor. 12:3; 1 Tim. 4:1; Rev. 2:11; Heb 3:7; Matt. 10:20; Acts 2:4; 8:29; 10:19; 11:12, 28; 13:2; 16:6,7; 21:4,11).

    25.    The Spirit is the agent by which we are baptized into the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:13).

    26.    The Spirit brings liberty (2 Cor. 3:17).

    27.    The Spirit transforms us into the image of Christ (2 Cor. 3:18).

    28.    The Spirit cries in our hearts, “Abba, Father” (Gal. 4:6).

    29.    The Spirit enables us to wait (Gal. 5:5).

    30.    The Spirit supplies us with Christ (Phil. 1:19, KJV).

    31.    The Spirit grants everlasting life (Gal. 6:8).

    32.    The Spirit gives us access to God the Father (Eph. 2:18).

    33.    The Spirit makes us (corporately) God’s habitation (Eph. 2:22).

    42.    The Spirit teaches us (1 Cor. 2:13; John 14:26).

    43.    The Spirit gives us joy (1 Thess. 1:6).

    44.    The Spirit enables some to preach the gospel (1 Pet. 1:12).

    Count it all Joy!

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.   James 1: 2-4

    The trial
For the most part, it has been a rough winter – lots of snow storms, ice rain and very cold days. The thing is, we don’t have control over the weather, but we do have control over our attitude and reaction towards the weather. We can decide if we are going to be happy or upset every day, for the next few weeks of winter.  Everyday is not cold and dark,  nor is it always sunny and mild. Some people love when it snows, while some don’t. Summer comes around and some days it becomes unbearably hot and the cycle begins again.

We are always being tested. Right now you are either heading into a Storm (trial or test), in the eye of a Storm, or coming out of a Storm.  Sometimes the trials come one after the other. Sometimes they feel like they are never going to pass.  God has a purpose for every trial that comes into your life.

    God has a Purpose
God’s purpose for us is that we grow and become more like the Lord Jesus Christ in our daily lives. His intention is never to harm us but to help us.  Nothing happens to you without God’s approval and divine purpose. Regardless of the circumstances you are facing God can make all things work to your good and to your benefit. God’s perspective is not the same as ours. Sometimes, because of the pain and the problem, we don’t see clearly. Our vision becomes limited to the present but God sees the purpose and outcome of each trial. God sees the future! God promises His presence in the time of trial. He promised that he will never leave us nor forsake us.

    Faith and Endurance
After we go through the fire (trials), we will come out like pure gold. When difficulties come we  can be at peace and rest in God’s love no matter what we are facing.  Weeping MAY endure for a night BUT Joy comes in the morning.

Let your faith be strengthened knowing that when you are weak, he is strong.
Let your faith grow by knowing that God will make a way were there doesn’t seem to be a way.
Let your faith be built up knowing that God is all powerful and more than able to work out every detail in your situation.

    Thoughts to ponder:
How do you respond to trials?
Do you see opposition or adversity as an obstacle to climb over and keep going or as the end of the road?
Does your trial drive you away from God or closer to God?

    Trust God

If God brings you to it, he Will bring you through it.
    Happy moments, praise God.
    Difficult moments, seek God.
    Quiet moments worship God.
    Painful moments, trust God.
    Every moment, thank God.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; Proverbs 3:5

    Every day is a blessing

    Every day is a blessing

    Every day is a blessing

    Every day is a blessing

Just waking up to see another day is a blessing. If you have food to eat, a comfortable place to live, clothes to wear and live in a free country, that is a blessing. Sometimes, we fail to see and be grateful for the simple things in life, by focusing on the things that we would like to attain.

Each day we live, we have an opportunity to be a blessing to someone. We have an opportunity to do great things for the Kingdom. Let us endeavor to live with a grateful attitude and make the most out of every day. Give God thanks everyday.

When we realize that Every day is a blessing, we will begin to live blessed.

This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

    God loves you

Do you realize how much God loves you?

    Read John 3:16
For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

    Happy Monday

    You are blessed

You are blessed to be a blessing!!!

I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. (Genesis 12:2)
So that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith. Galations 3:14
