Just want to share a little story with you all. This afternoon I called my girls to help out with something. As I stood there, I said to myself, I will give $20 to the first one who comes. They were so preoccupied with their favorite hobby :), that no one came. A few minutes later, as I finished what I was doing, I revealed to them that they missed an opportunity to get $20. Ofcourse they all jumped up ready to help….but it was too late. lol

Don’t miss opportunities this year just because you are too busy!!! God has great plans for you in 2015!!

What an amazing, life-changing atmosphere at Toronto United In Worship!!!

The bible says, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” When we get together in one accord, with only one thing in mind – to give praises and glory to God – we can expect that the spirit of God will overflow on us. It was a real outpouring of the spirit of God.

Curacao

Zadok Missions Conference was a huge success. The powerful presence of God was felt at every service. Special thanks to Apostle Lovelace and Pastor Esther for having us join in the amazing work you are doing in Curacao. It was great spending quality time laughing, eating and having a great time with #TeamZadok (Apostle Lovelace, Pastor Esther, Pastor Smith, Pastor Jay, Pastor McEwan, Min. P, Vanya and Mya) Pastor McEwan had us laughing until my face hurt.

The CMDA concert was such a blessing! Special thank you to CMDA President: Dr. Carla Caprietta (my sister and friend) and the whole Team for inviting me to minister at your event. I believe in your vision. Wish I could have stayed longer with you all. We’ve got to do this again. It’s such a blessing to see Medical students lifing up the name of Jesus,-unashamed. Continue to win souls for Christ on Campus and around the world!!! #TellTheWorld

Uturn to New Life – Wow!!!! What can I say about Sunday Morning Worship Service….Such a powerful sermon by Pastor Jay. Holy Spirit took over and we just had an unforgettable encounter. One young girl about 14years old touched my heart. After Service she said to me, “Thank you so much. My sister (older) never raised her hands in church before and when you were ministering. It was the first time she raised her hands and worshipped Jesus”. Touched my heart. Thank you Lord for every soul touched by your presence.

A big thank you to Pastor Chris & Meralim, Pastor Angus & Rosa and families for your overwhelming hospitality. It was just so awesome meeting you all. Stay abundantly blessed.

Hennie, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We couldn’t ask for better accommodations.

Inid and Mariella (Hospitality at its’ finest). I am so so grateful… We will always remember you both. Inid, I shared one of your jokes and we just laughed and laughed. Thanks for your humor. LOL

Jesus in the City

Had a wonderful day at Jesus in the City parade today!!! It was so amazing to see so many people rejoicing together on the streets of Toronto and lifting up the name of JESUS….In Christ we are one. Toronto Mayor Rob Ford showed up to show his support. We give God praise for a tremendous day.

Taking it to the streets – Buffalo

We had such an amazing time at the Taking it to the Streets event in Buffalo.

Heaven was rejoicing! Lots of souls came to Christ. Wow! Such amazing hospitality….Pastor Anita Williams you an amazing woman of God. You have a great team. Stay perpetually blessed.

Special thanks to Genell Bowman (event planner) for the hospitality. The Artist meet and greet event was a great success. God bless you for all you did to make our stay a comfortable, relaxing and just wonderful experience.

Thank you so much Sandra for taking the time to escort us to church on Sunday. Wow, it was so admirable how you went out of your way to make sure that we were well taken care of. You are a blessed woman of God.

It was so good to meet up with the other Artist working for the Kingdom. Nice seeing and hearing the Singleton family again. Ya’ll are a great blessing. Much love to you all. Thanks Pastor Ted Howard for hosting us on Sunday morning. We had a wonderful time in worship. Looking forward to Taking it to the Streets again next year!!!

Ruth Dente and Morning Star Voices will be in Buffalo this weekend at Marting Luther King Park. It’s a community outreach event called Taking it to the Streets. This is the 26th year of the program running faithfully by Pastor Anita Williams. If you are in the area, come out and enjoy a wonderful 2 days of Gospel Singing, Dancing plus….

Are you serious? 4 events in one day??? Yep!!

Sunday Aug 3 –
So it all started with a wonderful worship service at Bethel. We lead worship with some Caribbean tunes and then went to North America. 🙂 The word was on Time.

Immediately after the service it was off to a Baptismal Service. Congratulations to the 4 new Disciples of Christ who took an amazing step to follow Christ. Ofcourse we celebrated with more Caribbean tunes 🙂 It was a Jubilee!!!

Then to Drupati’s which is a Caribbean (Trini) Restaurant-had some good curry on-the-go because we had to rush off to the 20th Anniversary Praise night Celebration with Apostle Lovelace St John and Progress Church. What a time!!! My my my. The Praise and Worship Team was super amazing. As soon as we ministered we had to take off to go to another event about 30mins away. Couldn’t stay for the whole Praise night but it was amazing.

What can I say about The GospelFest in Oshawa. Wow! God Wow! The Spirit of God moved in the park. Feeding the hungry and ministering to the needy is always a sure sign that the Holy Spirit would show up and do mighty things. Father you are great! I pray that the Holy Spirit continues to work on the lives that were touched on Sunday. It was well worth the sacrifice.

God be praised!!!

4 events in one day. How did we do it? Just by the Grace of God!!!

What-a-Weekend

Another fun-filled and program-packed weekend. Three events on one day is beginning to be the order of my Days. 🙂

On Saturday morning, I attended the Men of Excellence program hosted by The Glass Awards. It was held at the Hilton in Toronto. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and a great program. A big congratulations to my brother, Pastor Jay Caprietta along with about 7 other pastors/bishops, who received a Men of Excellence award. My brother is a true example of a Servant of God. He followed the leadership of the Lord to move from a life of luxury in Suburban Altanta to Toronto to do the work of the Lord. The scripture in Matthew 5:16 comes to mind: Shine your light and others will see your good works, and glorify the Lord. May God continue to uphold you as you do the work of the Lord.

Then it was off to a wedding – Congratulations to my friends Patricia and Olando on their marriage. It was so beautiful. I wish you both a very happy life together. Also, nice seeing some faces that I hadn’t seen for quite some time.

Next stop > The Glass Awards!!! The show was amazing. Karen Clarke-Sheard was such a blessing as usual. Kenny Lewis and One Voice rocked the house. O wow! Anointed and inspired….

Special thanks to the mastermind behind both award shows, Michael Stuckey. God bless you in your endeavours. It’s only gonna get greater. Congratulations to all the Glass Award recipients and nominees. It was such a wonderful experience and even more so – what a way to share the night than with friends and family in ministry. My family took up 2 rows. lol. Yes I’ve got a big family. Thanks for all the support and love! Love ya’ll so much…. Yesterday, my little nephew Mykah told me that he saw me on the screen and really wanted me to win. That was so sweet. Looking forward to next year!!!

Amazing weekend!

Wow 6 events in one weekend! What an amazingly busy weekend….It was greaaat!!!

Friday night we were at the gospel Cafe. The event was hosted by a wonderful Lady, Simone Banton, of TotalPrayz. Sang five songs off my new Album “Our God Reigns”. If you haven’t been to the Gospel Cafe, go check it out. There’s always Live Events on the weekend, Good food and incredible service. The staff are very friendly. #GospelCafe

Sang for 2 hours straight on Saturday afternoon at the THOP M1:11 – Day and Night Prayer (June 19-30). Two hours of worship and intercessory prayer for our city and nation. The presence of God was tangible. Chains were broken off many lives in our city. “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

Celebration Praise with Pastor Anthony Aigbe and others was such a blessing, as always. Wonderful worship session. It was soo hard to slip out but had to leave to attend the Diversity Magazine Awards. Pat and Moses Mawa, thanks so much for hosting such a classy event. We had a wonderful time! Great food, facilities and speakers. Congratulations to all the Award Recepients.

Worship and Word at Bethel was amazing!!! Something is happening in Toronto. When the people of God are uniting, God is pleased and the spirit moves. Six people got healed last night. The magnificent power of God.

What a wonderful time of Worship

Awesome time in worship last night and this morning at History Makers Conference with Worship Leaders Matt Robinson, Jen Smith, Pearry Caprietta and our amazing band. Wow!!! Pastor Paula White brought such a powerful word last night. God be praised!!!

Night at the Game…….Toronto Raptors win!!!

A couple weeks ago I went to an NBA Game – Toronto Raptors vs Milwaukee Bucks – my Daughter was singing the national anthems (O Canada and Star Spankled Banner) with her school. It was a very amazing experience in so many ways. First of all the kids did such a wonderful job. Special thanks to their Director Lavinia Celaire.

While leaving the choir back-stage and heading up to the stadium, I heard the Raptors team and the guard told me that they were praying before the game. He said both teams pray together before the game. Had I not been there at that time, I would have never known that. I mentioned it to someone, who is a real fan of the sport and he didn’t know that they prayed before the games either. Wow, thumbs up for you guys for acknowledging God!!!

As I continued walking I met and got a photo with Jamaal MaGloire, the Toronto native who capped his 13-year NBA career with his hometown team in the 2011-12 season.

The next best part is that our home team won and we were treated to free Pizza the next day. Why free pizza?
– Because our team (Toronto Raptors) scored over 100 points, Pizza Pizza donated to everyone who attended the game. Thanks Pizza Pizza!!! You know how to celebrate.
