Extraordinary Life

To live an Extraordinary Life is to live a life full of faith. We know that without faith, it is impossible to please God.

How do we exercise our faith?
An athlete has to practice every day or their muscles will become tense, seize up and not function the way that they need it to during their game or race. When we exercise our faith daily, whether it is by praying for the sick or praying to find our keys, we are building faith muscles. IF you don’t practice then it won’t grow. It is also important to water it with the word of God. Faith comes by hearing the word of God. God’s word is alive.

Are you ready to activate your faith? The word of God says, “I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.” Mark 11:23

From Ordinary to Extraordinary

Ordinary things become extraordinary once they are given over to God.

Jesus had them fill the waterpots with water and he miraculously turned the water into the best wine served at that wedding. It was so noticeable, that the Master of the feast said to the Bridegroom, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!”
The young boy gave Jesus his two fish and five loaves of bread and it multiplied exponentially. It fed a great multitude of people and yet there was an overflow.
A small simple sling shot became a mighty deadly weapon against the enemy, when God got involved. “David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies–the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” 1Samuel 17:45

Do you want to live an extraordinary life? Have you given your life to God? HE can make a difference in your outcomes.

Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.(Prov 16:3)

So at twilight they (The 4 Lepers) set out for the camp of the Arameans. But when they came to the edge of the camp, no one was there! For the Lord had caused the Aramean army to hear the clatter of speeding chariots and the galloping of horses and the sounds of a great army approaching. “The king of Israel has hired the Hittites and Egyptians[d] to attack us!” they cried to one another. So they panicked and ran into the night, abandoning their tents, horses, donkeys, and everything else, as they fled for their lives. 2Kings 7:5-7
Let every Aramean enemy in your life hear the sound of the angels that has been strategically assigned to you and flee out of your life, in Jesus name. Receive your breakthrough today!!! ‪#‎Breakthrough‬ ‪#‎blessings‬ ‪#‎abundantlife‬ ‪#‎RuthDente‬

    You are not alone!

Lonely IslandLoneliness is a real thing! Have you ever been in a crowded room but still felt alone? Have you ever felt like you should just go live on an Island all by yourself. The truth is, we are never alone. Jesus said in Matthew 28:20 “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age“

Loneliness is an emotional state of mind or feeling of isolation that we sometimes face. However, as a Christian we can take comfort in the word of God. Jesus promised that he will never leave you nor forsake you. When you’re feeling at your weakest; He is your strength.

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

    God gives wisdom

For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. Prov 2:6

To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. Eccl 2:26

    wisdom2

    Need wisdom? Ask God…

But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing doubting: for he that doubteth is like the surge of the sea driven by the wind and tossed. James 1:5-6

    The Holy Spirit

I just wanted to share this with you all.  Hope you enjoy this devotional…

Here are the 50 Things the Holy Spirit Does  by Frank Viola

    1.      The Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8).

    2.      The Spirit guides us into all truth (John 16:13).

    3.      The Spirit regenerates us (John 3:5-8; Titus 3:5).

    4.      The Spirit glorifies and testifies of Christ (John 15:26; 16:14).

    5.      The Spirit reveals Christ to us and in us (John 16:14-15).

    6.      The Spirit leads us (Rom. 8:14; Gal. 5:18; Matt. 4:1; Luke 4:1).

    7.      The Spirit sanctifies us (2 Thess. 2:13; 1 Pet. 1:2; Rom. 5:16).

    8.      The Spirit empowers us (Luke 4:14; 24:49; Rom. 15:19; Acts 1:8).

    9.      The Spirit fills us (Eph. 5:18; Acts 2:4; 4:8, 31; 9:17).

    10.    The Spirit teaches us to pray (Rom. 8:26-27; Jude 1:20).

    11.    The Spirit bears witness in us that we are children of God (Rom. 8:16).

    12.    The Spirit produces in us the fruit or evidence of His work and presence (Gal. 5:22-23).

    13.    The Spirit distributes spiritual gifts and manifestations (the outshining) of His presence to and through the body (1 Cor.     12:4, 8-10; Heb. 2:4).

    14.    The Spirit anoints us for ministry (Luke 4:18; Acts 10:38).

    15.    The Spirit  washes and renews us (Titus 3:5).

    16.    The Spirit brings unity and oneness to the body (Eph. 4:3; 2:14-18). Here the Holy Spirit plays the same role that He plays in the Godhead. The Spirit is the life that unites Father and Son. The Spirit plays the same role in the church. When the Holy Spirit is operating in a group of people, He unites them in love. Therefore, a sure evidence of the Holy Spirit working in a group is Love and Unity. Not signs and wonders (those are seasonal and can be counterfeited).

    17.    The Spirit is our guarantee and deposit of the future resurrection (2 Cor. 1:22; 2 Cor. 5:5).

    18.    The Spirit seals us unto the day of redemption (Eph. 1:13; 4:30).

    19.    The Spirit sets us free from the law of sin and death (Rom. 8:2).

    20.    The Spirit quickens our mortal bodies (Rom. 8:11).

    21.    The Spirit reveals the deep things of God to us (1 Cor. 2:10).

    22.    The Spirit reveals what has been given to us from God (1 Cor. 2:12).

    23.    The Spirit dwells in us (Rom. 8:9; 1 Cor. 3:16; 2 Tim. 1:14; John 14:17).

    24.    The Spirit speaks to, in, and through us (1 Cor. 12:3; 1 Tim. 4:1; Rev. 2:11; Heb 3:7; Matt. 10:20; Acts 2:4; 8:29; 10:19; 11:12, 28; 13:2; 16:6,7; 21:4,11).

    25.    The Spirit is the agent by which we are baptized into the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:13).

    26.    The Spirit brings liberty (2 Cor. 3:17).

    27.    The Spirit transforms us into the image of Christ (2 Cor. 3:18).

    28.    The Spirit cries in our hearts, “Abba, Father” (Gal. 4:6).

    29.    The Spirit enables us to wait (Gal. 5:5).

    30.    The Spirit supplies us with Christ (Phil. 1:19, KJV).

    31.    The Spirit grants everlasting life (Gal. 6:8).

    32.    The Spirit gives us access to God the Father (Eph. 2:18).

    33.    The Spirit makes us (corporately) God’s habitation (Eph. 2:22).

    Faith + Trust

Walk by Faith; not by sight! No matter what it looks like, Trust God!
No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.Ps 84:11
Trust Faith Buttons Show Trustful Or Faithfulness

    Count it all Joy!

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.   James 1: 2-4

    The trial
For the most part, it has been a rough winter – lots of snow storms, ice rain and very cold days. The thing is, we don’t have control over the weather, but we do have control over our attitude and reaction towards the weather. We can decide if we are going to be happy or upset every day, for the next few weeks of winter.  Everyday is not cold and dark,  nor is it always sunny and mild. Some people love when it snows, while some don’t. Summer comes around and some days it becomes unbearably hot and the cycle begins again.

We are always being tested. Right now you are either heading into a Storm (trial or test), in the eye of a Storm, or coming out of a Storm.  Sometimes the trials come one after the other. Sometimes they feel like they are never going to pass.  God has a purpose for every trial that comes into your life.

    God has a Purpose
God’s purpose for us is that we grow and become more like the Lord Jesus Christ in our daily lives. His intention is never to harm us but to help us.  Nothing happens to you without God’s approval and divine purpose. Regardless of the circumstances you are facing God can make all things work to your good and to your benefit. God’s perspective is not the same as ours. Sometimes, because of the pain and the problem, we don’t see clearly. Our vision becomes limited to the present but God sees the purpose and outcome of each trial. God sees the future! God promises His presence in the time of trial. He promised that he will never leave us nor forsake us.

    Faith and Endurance
After we go through the fire (trials), we will come out like pure gold. When difficulties come we  can be at peace and rest in God’s love no matter what we are facing.  Weeping MAY endure for a night BUT Joy comes in the morning.

Let your faith be strengthened knowing that when you are weak, he is strong.
Let your faith grow by knowing that God will make a way were there doesn’t seem to be a way.
Let your faith be built up knowing that God is all powerful and more than able to work out every detail in your situation.

    Thoughts to ponder:
How do you respond to trials?
Do you see opposition or adversity as an obstacle to climb over and keep going or as the end of the road?
Does your trial drive you away from God or closer to God?

    God loved us that much!!

    God loved us that much!!!

John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 5:8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

Galatians 2:20 My old self has been crucified with Christ.[a] It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Ephesians 2:4-5 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)

1 John 4:9-11 God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.

    Trust God

If God brings you to it, he Will bring you through it.
    Happy moments, praise God.
    Difficult moments, seek God.
    Quiet moments worship God.
    Painful moments, trust God.
    Every moment, thank God.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; Proverbs 3:5

    You are blessed

You are blessed to be a blessing!!!

I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. (Genesis 12:2)
So that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith. Galations 3:14

    Thank God for Grace

    Thank you Lord for GRACE!!!!

And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and GREAT GRACE was upon them all. Acts 4:33

    Psalms 100:2-4

Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Psalms 100:2-4

    Spend quality time with God

Spending quiet time with God, first thing in the morning is an amazing thing. Just saying “Lord, I commit this day into your hands” makes such a difference in how the day progresses.

Whatever we commit to God, he is faithful in keeping it for us. He gives by far the best return on investment. The little time that you spend talking over your scheduled activities for the day, is worth every moment.

Try asking God into your daily affairs and experience the amazing difference he makes!

    Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

    The Beatitudes

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
    Blessed are those who mourn,
    For they shall be comforted.
    Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    For they shall be filled.
    Blessed are the merciful,
    For they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
    For they shall see God.
    Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you
    – Matthew 5: 3-12 –
